William and the family were found living in New York in the 1840 and 1850 US Census. They moved to Wisconsin about 1856 and lived there the rest of their lives.

Jane and Elisha were m. in Oneida Co., NY, 24 Dec 1846. They were the parents of 6 children and lived in Oneida Co. until 1857. They moved at that time to Seneca, LaSalle, IL and remained there for the rest of their lives. Both Jane and Elisha were bur. in Mount Hope Cemetery, Seneca, Find a Grave Memorial #155258144 and 155258354

William registered for the WW1 draft 5 Jun 1917 and sailed to France, May 1918 with the 320th Ambulance Co, 305th Sanitary Train, 80th Division aboard the "Siboney" After the end of the War he sailed from Brest, France 20 May 1919 and arrived in Hoboken, NJ on 31 May 1919. The unit was transfered to Fort Dix, NJ where he was processed out. Both William and Clyde were bur. in Old Bethlehem Cemetery, White Oak, Bladen, NC, Find a Grave Memorial # 126339393 and 126339527
