Carrie was the 2nd dau. of Rev. Benjamin-7 Donham. She attended the Bethel Academy, Bethel, Oxford, ME and studied at the Lancaster Normal College in Lancaster, Worcester, MA. She m. in Somerville, Worchester, MA, 28 Nov 1856 Hermann Krusi.
Hermann was b.in Switzerland and educated in Switz., Germany, Prussia amd taught in England before comming to the United States. He taught in MA, NJ, OH before accepting an invitation to join the staff at the Oswego Training School in Oswego, Oswego, NY. He was a Professor of Philosophy of Education, Geometry and Modern Languages for 25 years.
Carrie and Hermann had 3 children. Carrie and Hermann d. in Alameda, Alameda, CA and were returned for burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Oswego. Find a Grave Memorial #85753191 and 85754023.

George was the 4th child of Rev. Benjamin-7 Donham and he served in the Civil War with his brother Benjamin and is shown with his Grand Army of the Republic Medal. He served during the Civil War from 25 Apr 1861 to 9 Jun 1863. George then studied Dentistry in Woonsocket, Providence, RI from Dr. Moses W. Small from Jun 1863 to Nov 1865 and then set up a practice in Rockland, Plymouth, MA in 1866.
George m. in Abington, Plymouth, MA, 7 May 1868, Sarah Adelaide-9 Studley. They had 5 children. Both are bur. in the Studley Plot, Mount Vernon Cemetery, Abington, Plymouth, MA. Find a Grave Memorial #73566373 and 73566563.

Joseph was the 5th child of Rev. Benjamin-7 Donham and he served in the Civil War. Joseph and George enlisted in Co. H, 2nd Maine Infantry Volunteers on 28 May 1861. Both Joseph and George spent much of their service in the Military Hospitals due to illness. Benjamin and George were mustered out on 9 June 1863. Benjamin graduated from Harvard Medical School 1868 and set up a Medical Practice in Saulnierville, Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada were he lived for the next 37 years. He returned to Togus, Kennebec, ME, in Nov 1915 for medical treatment at the Togus National Soldiers Home and died 3 months later. Joseph was not married and was bur. in the Togus National Cemetery. Sarah Agnes was the 2nd child of George Edwin-8 Donham and Sarah Adelaide Studley. Sarah began a teaching career in Rockland, Plymouth, MA, about 1896 and by 1923 she had her own business in Home Economics along with being a Lecturer at Simmons College (1923-1936). She was still working as an Economist in 1948 at the age of 77 and had published a number of books on Home Economics from 1918 to 1937 and was never married. She was bur. in the Studley Plot, Mount Vernon Cemetery, Abington, Plymouth, MA. Find a Grave Memorial #73566869.

Benjamin was the 3nd child of George Edwin-8 Donham and Sarah Adelaide Studley. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 1895 as a Civil Engineering. He begain his career as the Assistant Engineer with the San Francisco Bridge Co.1895-1898, Consulting and Resident Engineer, Spreckles Sugar Co., 1898-1900. Chief Engineer 1900-1908 Seoul, Korea on Water, Power, Highways and Electric Railway projects.
Benjamin had met Edith while he was working in California and continued a correspondence by Sea Mail from Seoul and Edith at home in Alameda, CA. They became engaged and she sailed from San Francisco, Ca. to Yokohama, Japan were they were married 4 Aug 1902. They remained in Seoul until about 1908 and had 2 children there. The family returned to the USA and set up a home in New Jersey and had a 3rd child. Benjamin started his own company and worked as a Consulting Civil Engineer for several companies, 1911-1936. Benjamin and Edith were bur. in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Montclair, Essex, NJ. Find a Grave Memorial #206153202 and 206153149.

Wallace was the 4th child of George Edwin-8 Donham and Sarah Adelaide Studley. He attended Harvard College, Cambridge, Middlesex, MA, 1895-1898 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in three years. He continued at the Harvard Law School, 1898-1901 and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with honors and was admitted to the bar the same year. He worked for Old Colony Trust Co., Boston and was a vice-president when he left in 1919. Wallace was the Dean of the Harvard School of Business from 1919 to 1942 and continued as the George F. Baker Professor of Business Administration until 1948.
Mable was a School Teacher before she married Wallace in Cambridge, 7 Apr 1903. They had 4 children. Wallace and Mable were bur. in Newton Cemetery, Newton, Middlesex, MA. Find a Grave Memorial #85562026 and 85562094.

for several years and was employed in defence plants during WW1 and WW2 in Massachusetts. George and Edith were m. in Hanover, Plymouth, MA, 5 Jul 1906 and had 3 children. George spent most of his life in Upton, Worcester, MA having bought a large farm in 1913 and is where the family lived for the next 36 years. George was the 1st child of Benjamin Curtis-9 Donham and Edith Alezandria McKean. He had been b. in Seoul, Korea when his father was employed there. George graduated from Colgate University, in 1927 and from Harvard Business School in 1929. He m. in Kinderhook, Columbia, NY, 30 Sept. 1939, Mary Virginia Ashby. They had 2 children.
George was a Patent Trader and began his career in advertising with the J. Walter Thompson Co. He then joined the Newell Emmett Co. which merged with the Cunningham and Walsh advertising agency of New York City. He served as an associate creative director and sale

Richard was the 1st son of Wallace Brett-9 Donham and Mable Clara Higgins. After high School Richard attended Harvard College, BA in 1927, Master of Business Administration, 1930 and a Doctorate in Commercial Science in 1934. He taught at both Harvard Business School and Yale until 1940 when he joined Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. Richard became Director of the Graduate School of Business Administration at Northwestern’s Chicago campus and in 1961 he founded The Institute for Management at Northwestern. He was Dean for the School from 1953 to 1964 when he returned to teaching. Richard m. in Cambridge, Middlesex, MA,

Kenneth was the 1st child of Eleanor-10 Donham and Kenneth Alan Simpson. Alan as he was called served in the US Navy during WW2. When Alan and Roberta were m. in Charlestown, Sullivan, NH, 18 May 1946 they did now know that they were distant cousins.
They both descended from Richard Warren, John Alden and from Priscilla Mullins and her parents, William and Alice Mullins, all passengers on the Mayflower. They were the parents of 2 children. Alan worked 28 years as a engineer for Northrup Corp and Roberta worked for the Los Angeles County, CA court system. Both Alan and Roberta died in Fresno, Fresno, CA. and were bur. in the Oakhill Cemetery, Oakhurst, Madera, CA. Find a Grave Memorial #201425786 and 191086904.

Bruce was the 2nd child of Allan Stuart-10 Donham and Helen Irene Crooker. He attended Babson College, Wellesley, Norfolk, MA and graduated in 1966 with a BS in business management. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea. He was employed by the Carpenter Co. for 38 years, retiring in 2007 as a Senior Vice President.

Charles enlisted in Co. E, 31st Maine, Infantry, 11 Mar 1864 and was mustered in the same day. He was a Corporal when he was Mustered Out, 15 Jul 1865. The Regiment left Maine 18 April 1864 and was attached to the 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division, IX Corps, Army of the Potomac. The 31st commenced active campaigning on 4 May and took its 1st casualties 2 days later. By 12 June it was engaged in the Siege of Petersburg, VA until the end of the War. Charles was bur. in Island Falls Cemetery, Island Falls, Aroostook, ME, Find a Grave Memorial #189412602
