Benjamin met Edith while he was working in California and continued a correspondence by Sea Mail. He was in Seoul, Korea and Edith at home in Alameda, CA. They became engaged and she sailed from San Francisco, Ca. to Yokohama, Japan were they were married 4 Aug 1902. They returned to Seoul where Benjamin was employed until about 1907 when they returned to the USA, setting up a home and business.

James attended Bates College Lewiston Maine and was a Pitcher on the Baseball Team. He later was a Pitcher on the Industrial Baseball League that won the Blackstone Valley Championship. He worked as a Machinist until his death at 26 due to a heart malady.

Allan was a graduate of Amherst College, worked at a Engineer Co. and later as a proofreader /compositor for Worchester Telegram Publishing Co. He died due to injuries from a automobile crash. Alan and Helen were married 12 Aug 1939 in a Double Wedding Ceremony. Helen graduated from the Framingham State Normal School and was a teacher until she collapsed in her classroom.

Bruce attended Babson College, Wellesley, Norfolk, MA and graduated in 1966 with a BS in business management. He was in the US Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea. He was employed by the Carpenter Co. for 38 years, retiring in 2007 as a Senior Vice President.

Charles enlisted in Co. E, 31st Maine, Infantry, 11 Mar 1864 and was mustered in the same day. He was a Corporal when he was Mustered Out, 15 Jul 1865. The Regiment left Maine 18 April 1864 and was attached to the 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division, IX Corps, Army of the Potomac. The 31st commenced active campaigning on 4 May and took its 1st casualties 2 days later. By 12 June it was engaged in the Siege of Petersburg, VA until the end of the War.

James married Margaret Elizabeth Slonaker and resided in Greenville Twp., Darke Co., OH, where he worked as a carpenter and cooper. They were parents of four children. He enlisted as a Private on 27 January 1864 in Company G of the 44th Ohio Infantry, it quickly became Company M, 8th Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Cavalry. He was then mustered into the Union Army, 44th Ohio Infantry, Company G at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH,. James was injured at Liberty, VA, captured and taken prisoner at Lynchburg, VA and died as P.O.W. at Andersonville Prison, Sumter Co., Georgia from diarrhea & dysentery on 01 October 1864. He is buried at the Andersonville National Historic Site, Macon Co., GA. Find a Grave Memorial #51154136.

William registered for the WW1 draft 5 Jun 1917 and sailed to France, May 1918 with the 320th Ambulance Co, 305th Sanitary Train, 80th Division aboard the "Siboney" After the end of the War he sailed from Brest, France 20 May 1919 and arrived in Hoboken, NJ on 31 May 1919. The unit was transfered to Fort Dix, NJ where he was processed out.
Both William and Clyde were bur. in Old Bethlehem Cemetery, White Oak, Bladen, NC, Find a Grave Memorial # 126339393 and 126339527
