LINE OF JONATHAN DUNHAM/alias SINGLETARY, of WOODBRIDGE, NEW JERSEY

FORTH GENERATION IN AMERICA

25. DANIEL-4 DUNHAM (David-3, Jonathan-2 Dunham alias Singletary, Richard-1 Singletary) probably born about 1715, [1] died in Elizabethtown, Union, New Jersey in 1739. [2]

“Possibly there was a son Daniel, born about 1710-1715, as one of the earliest appointments in the Elizabethtown district in 1739 was that of Constable Daniel Dunham, who must have been of full age at the time of his commission, which would bring his birth about 1715”. [3]

Three persons from “Researcher’s Dunham Lines” who I have worked with give Daniel-4 and his son Daniel-5 as their lines. Lloyd Eugene Dunham (of Canada) gives his line from this Daniel-4 Dunham as does Gloria Jean Phillips (also of Canada) and John Campbell Dunham of Aurora, Illinois.

Child of Daniel 4 Dunham:
46. Daniel 5 Dunham b. 1730-34 [4]

4. Myers p. 566 gives information about Daniel 5 Dunham and lists his children, but she has placed Daniel 5 under the wrong Dunham line.
