FOURTH GENERATION IN AMERICA

71. ELISHA 4 DUNHAM (John 3,2,1) born in Barnstable, Massachusetts 1 September 1687, [1] died in Mansfield, Connecticut before 10 February 1729/30.[2] Elisha married TEMPERANCE STEWART, [3] daughter of Hugh and Wait (--) Stewart/Stuard, of Chatham, Massachusetts. She died in Mansfield, Connecticut 24 April 1751. [4]

Windham Probate Record 1:70 dated 27 February 1735/6 shows appointment of Ebenezer Dunham of Mansfield Connecticut Guardian to Ebeneer (sic), Elisha and Mary Dunham, minor children of Elisha Dunham of Mansfield, decd.

There is one Mansfield Connecticut Land Record [2:413, dated 12 March 1724/5] for Elisha Dunham, husbandman.
