DUNHAM FAMILIES OF BLADEN COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA

FIRST GENERATION IN AMERICA

1. JOSEPH 1 DUNHAM was b. abt 1739. [1] Joseph 1 Dunham is given as the first documented head of the Dunham family of Bladen Co., NC. His wife’s name is unknown.



Children of Joseph 1 Dunham:
2. i. MARY 2 DUNHAM (Joseph 1), b. in Bladen Co., abt 1769 ; d. in Bladen Co. abt 9 November 1827, (date of her will). She married SNOWDEN SINGLETARY, son of Joseph and Mary (Fitzrandolph) Singletary. He was b. btw. 1764-1768; d. btw. 1820-1827. [1] There were no known children.
3. ii. WILLIAM RANDOLPH 2 DUNHAM, b. about 1770
