William-5 Dunham (Jonathan 4,3,2 John 1) born probably in Edgartown, Dukes, MA. say 1714-15, [1] died in Colchester, New London, CT (probably in the Westchester Society) 7-10 November 1781 in 68th year.[2] He married in Colchester, 10 November 1739 his cousin Persis 4 Dunham,[3] daughter of Daniel-3 and Rebecca (--) Dunham. Persis Dunham was born about 1713. William was a farmer, and member of the Congregational Church. He is called Lt. William Dunham on his gravestone and is buried in the Westchester Center Cemetery, Colchester, Find A Grave Memorial 7028959, (Ref. NHGS web site).
