THIRD GENERATION IN AMERICA

14. SUSANNA 3 DUNHAM (John 2,1) born say 1654; [1] died after 1704. [2] Susanna married in Barnstable 20 January 1673 BARTHOLOMEW HAMBLEN, [3] son of James and Anne (--) Hamblen. He was born in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts 11 April 1642; [4] died in Barnstable 24 April 1704, age 62 years and 14 days. [5]


Bartholomew Hamblen resided on his father’s 20 acre lot adjoining Deacon Cooper’s and Mr. Russell’s home lots. He was a farmer. He and his brother Eleazer were listed as soldiers in the company of Capt. John Gorham in King Philip’s War.
