The Dunham families who immigrated to America came here from the British Isles, mainly from England but there is indication that some were of Scotch-Irish heritage.<br />
<br />
A project is underway to identify the Dunham families still living in England through the use of DNA analysis. To date one participant from England has been tested and the results of his test show a completely different set of markers than anyone currently living in the United States. <br />
<br />
Contact with any Dunham families still living in the British Isles would be appreciated.<br />
