Daniel A. Dunham appears on the 1830 census in Tipton Co., TN. In 1835 he went to Texas and purchased the Retreat Plantation in Montgomery Co., TX. Daniel 3 Dunham then returned to Tennessee to get his family but he died before the family could make the move to Texas. His family did move to Texas.
