[1]  Lydia is placed as a daughter of Nathaniel 3 and Mary (Tilson) Dunham on the basis of her marriage in Plympton and the naming of a son Nathaniel.  She was not listed on the support agreement as a child of Bathsheba, widow of Eleazer 3 Dunham [2] and her marriage date of 1724 would not reasonably allow her to be a child of any other Dunham.  Lydia married in Plympton 8 July 1724 '''JOHN DOTY''', [3] son of John and Mehitable (Nelson) Doty. [4]  John Doty was born in Plymouth 5 February 1700/1, and he died in Plympton between 19 January 1748 and 3 April 1749, the dates on which his will was written and probated. [4]
