32.  SUSAN/SUSANNAH 4 DUNHAM (John 3,2 Joseph 1 Dunham) born in Williamson County, Tennessee 7 or 9 November 1798; [1] died in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri 14 August 1848. [2]  She married in Cape Girardeau HARDY BROOKS, son of Robert and Elizabeth Jane (Green/Greenwood)  Brooks.  He was born in Virginia 13 Oct. 1800; died in Cape Girardeau, Missouri 24 August 1879.

Bill Dunham supplied the obituary of Susan Brooks dated 25 August 1848: “Departed this life on Sunday morning the 14th, Mrs. Susan Brooks, consort of Mr. Hardy Brooks, in the fiftieth year of her age after a short but painful illness which she bore with great fortitude.  Blessed she was with an affectionate parent, kind and tender husband and a small family of interesting children, and many friends to mourn her loss…The deceased was an acceptable member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for twenty-eight years…”
