36. JOHN E. 4 DUNHAM (John 3,2 Joseph 1 Dunham) born about 1811; died 25 November 1843 age 33 yrs. 5 months. [1]
On 3 March 1838 Mary/Polly Dunham, widow of John 3 Dunham, sold 184 acres in the big bend of the Mississippi to John 4 Dunham for $1000.
John E. Dunham, and Emily Jane, his wife, gave 1 acre, including the meeting house, “in consideration of the love and affection they have for the church at Walnut Grove” to the Methodist Church at Walnut Grove near Dunham’s, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on 11/18/1844.
