38. CALVIN 4 DUNHAM (Isaac 3 Nathaniel 2 Thomas 1), born in Hebron, CT 28 March 1754; [1] died in (probably Vienna Twp.) Oneida Co., NY 17 November 1840. [2] He married 24 January 1774 RUTH NOBLE, daughter of Capt. David and Ruth (Noble) Noble. [3] She was born in Hebron, CT 12 August 1753; died in Castleton, VT 17 March 1817.
The pension application of Calvin Dunham (S10591) gives the information that he was a soldier in the Massachusetts line. He lived at Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., MA at his enlistment. After his service Calvin moved to Becket, MA and later moved to New York state where he lived at Plymouth, Westmoreland and Vienna. He applied for his Revolutionary War Service Pension 22 September 1832 while living in Vienna, NY.
The 1840 Census of Pensioners for Revolutionary War Services for the town of Vienna, Oneida County, NY shows Calvin Dunham, age 86, living with Ezekiel Dunham.
