14. SUSANNA 3 DUNHAM (John 2,1) born say 1654;[1] died after 1704.[2] Susanna married in Barnstable 20 January 1673 BARTHOLOMEW HAMBLEN,[3] son of James and Anne (--) Hamblen. He was born in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts 11 April 1642;[4] died in Barnstable 24 April 1704, age 62 years and 14 days.[5]
Bartholomew Hamblen resided on his father’s 20 acre lot adjoining Deacon Cooper’s and Mr. Russell’s home lots. He was a farmer. He and his brother Eleazer were listed as soldiers in the company of Capt. John Gorham in King Philip’s War.
Bartholomew Hamblen left an estate appraised at £309 6 sh. 8 d., of which his widow received one-third. His wife, Susannah Dunham, was a sister of Mary Dunham, the wife of his brother James Hamblen, Jr.
Several of the children of Bartholomew and Susanna (Dunham) Hamblen married, but there are no records that indicate that any descendants of this family survived beyond the fifth generation.

Ebenezer and Thankful (Childs) Hamblen had one child, Elizabeth 5 born in Barnstable 1 October 1723. There is no further information on this family.[9]
